Craigneil Residential home is situated on the promenade in Bare, Morecambe with all the amenities within easy reach which includes:-
Princess Crescent which has a high reputation for its many shops and cafes.
We are very close to the bus routes and bare train station is about half mile away.
A short walk away is Happy Mount Park, a beautiful traditional park that includes reserved seating areas for the partially sighted, Brass bands concerts, bowling greens, Japanese gardens, cafe and restaurant, children’s play area’s with a modern paddling pool
Craigneil has gained the prestigious Investors In People Award for the delivery of care services. Care Quality commission regularly inspect Craigneil and have rated us as excellent.

Craigneil is owned by Suzanne and Barry Hinde of which Suzanne is the manager. They and their dedicated friendly staff have gained Craigneil an excellent reputation amongst CQC, Health Care professionals and residents for their friendly atmosphere and high standard of personal care.
All meals are home cooked in our kitchen. We have weekly menu’s which enables the residents to know what is for the week ahead & a wide range of alternatives are included daily which enables us to provide a wide choice at meal times for individual preferences and special diets are catered for.
The meals are served in our dining room which is overlooking the promenade. Light refreshments are also available throughout the day and night which also extends to residents visitors free of charge.
Our Members of staff are always happy to arrange escorted visits to the local amenities or tips to places of local interest. Transport with escort to medical appointments is also arranged and provided where appropriate.
To ensure we maintain our high standards of care, our staff training is given a high priority. Our staff at Craigneil are well established and some have been with us for many years.
All staff are qualified to NVQ level 2, 3 and 4 in care and management and also include other essential qualifications to ensure the best possible care is always given.
